Mono opened in 2002, furnishing Glasgow with a unique and versatile space in which to eat, drink and discover new music. Over our first decade, we developed a reputation for good beer, good vegan food, good gigs and good times. We are proud of our achievements but we aim to make our second decade even better.
Our close relationship with the other businesses with whom we share a roof, Monorail Music and Good Press, lends a sense of community: the former provide the soundtrack to our days, while the latter design many of our posters, and both help us to curate our varied programme of events.
Mono has hosted not only some of the most exciting bands around, both local and international, but also exhibitions, book readings, art performances and workshops. Hopefully, something will catch your eye on our Events page & we’ll see you soon!
