Mobius Loop are taking their much anticipated new live album ‘Gemi’ on tour across 9 venues in the UK during October and November 2018. ‘Gemi’ The Album Launch Tour is the band’s largest professional venue tour to date and has been awarded funding from Arts Council England.
“Our new album is dedicated to our beautiful son Gemi, who sadly passed away when he was 10 months old. Every song on the album was written during Gemi’s conception, birth, life and death. Gemi is our greatest teacher and he gives us the courage to share our words, he taught us that any day could be our last on earth and while we are alive we are choosing to follow our musical calling and share our songs with everyone.” – Mobius Loop
Mobius Loop is self-managed & nurtured by singer-songwriter soul mates Alex & Katie, who are joined on both the album and on tour by Alex’s brother, Sean, on percussion and drums. The band are overwhelmed by the success of their Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign earlier this year, that raised over £8000 in 40 days to professionally record their new album ‘Gemi’ with Manchester based media company, ‘The Samsara Collective’. With their new album now in its final stages of completion, the band are looking forwards to releasing ‘Gemi’ the album on the first date of their album launch tour on Friday 5th October 2018.
“We are inviting you all to come and share the vibrations with us on a journey through emotional spiritual laments to explosive energetic celebrations. Every one of us has to endure grief and loss at different stages in our lives, we believe that transforming our grief into creativity and sharing it with others is a great step towards healing for each and every one of us.” – Mobius Loop
‘Gemi’ the album will be available on
