The Kidney Flowers are a primitive DIY garage/punk 3 piece from Glasgow, originally inspired by the early beat groups of the 1960’s. Some say they sound like The Gun Club, with their stripped-back
thumping drums, infectious driving bass and abrasive guitar, they have become an integral part of the Scottish underground music scene. Over the last couple of years they have supported the likes of Here Lies Man, Bob Log III, Mark Sultan, The Gories, The Filthy Tongues and The Schizophonics, to name but a few. Other influences include Joy Division, The Fall, The Velvet Underground, The Stooges and The Monks. Their ferocious debut album came out in June.
