MONORAIL MUSIC presents: Record Store Day 2016.

With EMMA POLLOCK, SPINNING COIN, BATTERIES performing live and DJs Charlie Mccann, Holly Calder, Calvin Halliday and Michael Rooney. Also featuring our trademark HOME BAKING and KID’S TABLE!

It’s that wonderful, insane, thriling, party time of year that is Record Store Day once again! Every year we here at Monorail like to jettison the naysayers and grumps to throw a fun party in celebration of the music that gets us through the day, week, month and years. This year is no different.

As always, we will open at 9am. A list of our stock and prices will be published online and wil be avilable as handy handouts for customers through-out the day. Stay tuned for that. Our DJ/live music program kicks off at 3pm and will go deep into the evening. Mono will be open from 11 for refreshments and food but we’ll do our best to keep you going with records, cakes and chat before that. Though perhaps less of the chat given the business of the day.

Like every year, we want everyone, young, old, regular or non-regular to have a great time and to celebrate! We here in the shop are customers ourselves first and foremost so let’s all get together and feel alright.
