Mono opened way back in 2002, furnishing Glasgow with a unique and versatile space in which to eat, drink and discover new music. Our aim is to provide a welcoming environment, quality food & drink and an exciting range of events, all couched in an ethical & community based context. Mono has hosted not only some of the most exciting bands around, both local and international, but also exhibitions, book readings, art performances, workshops and the infamous Baby Disco. On Monday 16th March 2020 we closed our doors. We did this as a responsibly to all – to protect our customers and colleagues, and their friends and families, from the coronavirus outbreak. We do not know when we will open again. With our doors closed, without your custom and without clear financial support from the Government, Mono's future is in danger. The importance of your custom over the past 18 years has been vital to our survival and without it we would not be here today. We are now asking anyone who has even visited or performed at Mono to reach out and help us survive and support our staff through this uncertain time. Every Crowd Funder donation raised will directly support our amazing staffs loss of earnings during the Covid 19 closure. Our goal is high but we will happily accept whatever you can kindly donate.https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/help-keep-mono-our-staff-alive-kickin-1Take care and thank you for your support.Mono & staff x
